24/7 prayer

During March 2005 Peterborough conducted their first 24-7 prayer event. One hundred and twenty people came and prayed during the week from sixteen churches in the surrounding area.

History of the 24-7 Prayer Movement

The 24-7 movement began 5 years ago in Chichester quite by accident. The church there set out to pray for a week non-stop, 24 hours a day. During the week people began to connect with and experience God in a way they never had before. Consequently after their first week they continued praying non-stop. Now five years on they are still praying and the movement has spread throughout the UK and the world.
